Scott Sklar: We have what I call this dead land of parking lots, but also flat roofs. I look at data centers. There shouldn’t be a data center without covered by damn solar and reflective thermal barrier coatings and stuff to keep the heat out of the data center, uh, without question. So look at your renewables as dual purpose.
You know, if you’re next to a stream or a river, we should have instream turbines that tr go turn very slow. You can boat around them, you can swim around them. They don’t kill fish and provide 24 hour power. What are we thinking?
And of course, if you have food processing or agriculture, you have all and or water and sewage treatment plants, which we do this mostly instead of dumping all this organic waste on the ground, which pollutes the groundwater and creates disease and creates lots of carbon. We turn it into energy and fertilizer, the best fertilizer on the planet, uh, and utilize it in our economy. So the point being is this integration within the, the structure of what we do, rather than building it as it’s just in on unto itself.
So I want us to get a, Once you go smaller, you can then co-opt and contort the technology to work around how you live and not contort your lifestyle to the energy technology, which is what we really do today. Hmm. Live with big coal ash ponds and big fracking ponds and all the, and nuclear waste plant.
All this stuff that we don’t really need to do.
