Scott Sklar: This idea, and this is also, I think, the big change. I’m gonna focus on solar right now, but it actually works very well with wind and actually biomass. But the, uh, the idea of putting solar panels flat on the ground is ridiculous.
And, and that’s because, um, uh, if you have a.

Ely wants to be in this call. Um, but, uh, uh, so let’s go somewhere. Let’s first start if you’re farming, I don’t believe we should cover prime farmland with solar panels. So what we’ve devised now is vol tags.
So you put it up way high. So you could put the tractors underneath and plant crops or, uh, raise animals or pollinator plants, but you don’t cover good earth. You, you multitask and you can do that. And of course, wind turbines the same thing we farm now. I mean, wind turbines in the Midwest are in farms and they get it.
So the farmer gets the rental income, which is great. And the, the community or the farm or the community get the power. You can still keep the natural character of agriculture. The same is in, uh, retail for instance. Uh, where instead of putting solar on the ground, you put 'em as canopies on parking lots.
And by the way, France is mandating on commercial and government parking lots, solar canopies, and on rooftops where it makes sense. Not all rooftops are good for solar in terms of age or anything else, but what’s nice about canopies, it’s easy to fix the solar panel. And you have less squirrel problems than you do on roofs. And raccoon problems with solar.
